Animal Care Providers / Hospital

Our hospital cares for many patients in a normal day. Some are sick, some are recovering from surgery, and some have been dropped off to be evaluated. Applicants for this position must be nurturing and kind; they must have keen assessment skills; and they must be able to communicate effectively with their coworkers and our veterinarians.

Caregivers are responsible for keeping detailed charts on our patients. They are required to be on their feet all day and must able to lift at least 50 pounds. They must be able to multitask, to use a computer, and to work effectively as part of a team.

Our hospital is staffed from 7am to 11pm, or later, seven days a week.
